Becoming a Holly Ridge Police Officer

Each Police Officer is required to operate with the highest level of work ethics under minimum direct supervision.

Requirements for Qualification:

Must have a current BLET certification
Must be 21 years of age
Good health and physical condition
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
Must not have a criminal record or a record of serious motor vehicle offenses

Applicants Selected for Future Consideration Must Undergo:

Review of completed F-3
Extensive background investigation and criminal/credit records check
Physical examinationn
Police psychological examination
Drug test
